With run leaders and coaches, all qualified to UK Athletics standards, Eastleigh Running Club has the passion, experience and expertise to help you achieve your running ambitions.
Joining a club can only enhance the experience of being a runner, whether through competition, social running, support and advice. Our club provides a no pressure environment that allows a runner to participate at all levels.
Our club is proud to compete in a number of local competitions, including Hampshire Cross Country, Road Race League, RR10 and the CC6 series. You will also find our members taking part in events both at home and abroad, from Park Runs to Ultras.
We don’t just run, our members enjoy social get togethers, whether for coffee and cake or an evening drink.

The cost of joining ERC is currently £32 a year (reducing to £22 after 1 year). There are reduced rates for those over 65 and runners who are members of another UK Athletics affiliated club who wish to join Eastleigh as second claim.
The club is fortunate to enjoy the services of five qualified and dedicated coaches. They have coaching skills in athletics, endurance and triathlon.
We also have a team of run leaders with the “Leader in Running Fitness” qualification from England Athletics. Our coaches and run leaders are all keen to help any runner, at any level, who has the desire to improve.
The Club has five UK Athletics qualified coaches. All support the club by organising a variety of structured sessions on club nights. They are also happy to work with athletes on an individual basis. To find out more, simply contact your coach of choice.
Talk to any coach or run leader at any of our gatherings for more information.
The club competes in several leagues.
All club members are allowed and encouraged to enter any race in any league. You do not have to be selected or chosen to be in a team. A team comprises the first 3 or 4 (it varies from race to race) to complete an event. There is no limit to the number of ERC members that can run. If entering any race as an ERC member you must wear an official club vest (or t-shirt).
